Hold on there Mama Afrika, history has shown that you have much more to lose than to gain in these 'partnerships' with foreign countries. Walter Rodney has already shown in his book, "How Europe Underdeveloped Africa" that Europe deliberately neglected Afrikan infrastructure improvements and exploited Afrika. Have we forgotten that China is arming the Sudanese regime in its genocide against its own people? Have we forgotten that India's Dalits or "Undesirables" of Afrikan descent occupy the lowest rung of Indian culture and are racially discriminated against today by the Indians? Have we forgotten that when Ghandi was living in South Afrika, he was an enemy of Afrikan liberation against the Dutch-led apartheid regimes that devastated South Afrika? And that, today, Indians living in Afrika, are perceived by many Afrikans as "a part of the problem"?The Honorable Huey P. Newton, and others, have taught us that when we make alliances with others, we must ensure that the alliance is one between equals. If Afrika fails to remember this history, it will find that the alliances will tend to serve the interests of the the exploiters more than the interests of the exploited.Kwasi
