Virginia Beach Goju Karate: A branch of Harlem Goju. Goju means "Hard & Soft" style of Karate, which is a Japanese based style that concentrates on linear and circular movements, along with close self-defense techniques. Renshi Chris Washington is the first student of Master Dwayne McGee, 7th Dan, is the brother of Grandmaster Sam McGee of Harlem Goju Karate of Harlem, New York. With great pleasure, we will induct Bassekou into the Afropop Hall of Fame. Plus we'll enjoy special guest artists, African cuisine, camaraderie and more.
