The Daddyman 2015 Conference - Monday 11-16-2015 in Virginia Beach, Virginia

       On Monday November 16 The Golden Fold's Fatherhood program will have it's first annual Daddyman Conference at Green Run High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm. This FREE event will provide Fathers with Men-only workshops and tools to address the challenges of Re-entering the lives of their children, Teenage Fatherhood, Baby Mama and Baby's Family Drama, The death of children, and Dealing with Child Support problems.
       There will also be sessions for Single Mothers who are raising sons.

There is no registration needed. Show up to go UP !

Virginia Beach Goju Karate: A branch of Harlem Goju. Goju means "Hard & Soft" style of Karate, which is a Japanese based style that concentrates on linear and circular movements, along with close self-defense techniques. Renshi Chris Washington is the first student of Master Dwayne McGee, 7th Dan, is the brother of Grandmaster Sam McGee of Harlem Goju Karate of Harlem, New York. Grandmaster Sam McGee taught (and still model for me) how to run an inner-city, karate school with integrity and tradition; However, "Master Dwayne McGee taught me how to fight."

Training hours are Tuesdays & Thursdays from the hours of 5:30-700 pm @ Rosemont Boys & Girls Clubs

The great Spiritual Teachers (Jesus, Buddha, the many avatars, sages and mystics of the ages) have taught the same basic truth -- We are each an individualized expression of Divine Spirit, the One Infinite Intelligence, Divine Consciousness -- GOD!

We each can begin to find our way to that state of mind called Heaven when we finally accept that truth and understand that we are here for a purpose!

As parts of God, each of us is here for a purpose!

As instruments of God, we are here for a purpose -- each and every one of us!

We are each here to accomplish something to which we are divinely guided.

Of course, with free will, you have the ability and the right to veer from your Divine path and do whatever you want to do. What you must also realize is that there are consequences for your actions -- every action.

Your heart knows your path! Follow that path and the rewards will eventually be great. There will be missteps, stumbles and even falls. There will be laughter, sorrow, joy and even pain! But each seeming failure, disaster, loss and catastrophe will also bring a gift. If you can learn to see that gift and receive what it has to offer, you will grow stronger, more peaceful and more deeply in touch with The Creator -- who is within you.

On the other hand, you can ignore your Divine Inner Guidance. You can stray where you like and do what you want because you have that power and that right!

Admittedly, the experience may be exhilarating at times. It also will be painful, sometimes extremely painful! Yet, that path too will offer gifts to show you the other way.

However, if you continue to ignore the gifts and shut out Divine Inner Guidance, as is your right, eventually your life will be without purpose or value. Such a life will lead to anger, self-pity, self-loathing, fear, isolation, and sorrow -- which, paradoxically, offers you another Divine gift that will guide you to the other way!

As they say, no pain no gain!

The choice is yours. The choice is always yours!

Enjoy your journey knowing that you are always in LOVE.
