TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE (TCM)

TCM views health as a measure of the state of vitality and balance of the Organ Meridian Systems which govern mental, emotional and physical expressions. This workshop focuses on the principles of TCM and how to improve one’s health and manage one’s Organ Systems thru the use of Chinese Herbal Formulas and the practice of Qi Gong (soft gentle movements and healing sounds). It also introduces Chinese BAZI ASTROLOGY – a system by which one can derive a chart that provides insight into one’s personality, potential careers, health, and personal life path.

SPRING DETOXIFICATION & VERNAL EQUINOX
Each seasonal transition represents not only a change in the environment but also a change in the biological cycles that control physical, psychical and mental functions. The regenerative and rebirthing energy of the spring is supported through the functions of the liver, the main detoxifier of the body. Cleansing the system and fortifying the liver at the onset of spring improves our health and enhances our potential for success in all our endeavors.
