In June 2011, The Resource King Intl., piloted the "Youth Earn and Learn-Jobs for Kids" Business and Workforce Development Program. The 6-Week Training and Development program prepares youth to gain self-sufficiency through: Exposure, Experience, Education, Entrepreneurship, Employment, Exercise & Eating Right, Economics, and Evangelism. We provide opportunities for participants to explore several business, career, and educational pathways; prepare them for business/work life; as well as, teach them how-to "earn" money and become self-sufficient. We target Media, Government, Healthcare, Financial, STEM, Transportation, and other non-traditional businesses for our participants to tour, learn first-hand about daily operations, educational pathways and business/career opportunities.
The Youth Earn and Learn Jobs-for-Kids© program is open to all socioeconomic groups especially "at-risk and disadvantaged" youth ages 12 and up, with the distinct goal of removing barriers and restoring hope. Volunteers and Donations are greatly appreciated!
