Collectivize or Suffer the Consequences

Although, I appreciate the gist of this information and endorse the conclusion that we must focus on survival strategies, or we ain't gonna be here, as some say
"Pan-Afrikanism or Perish!"  I also feel that the author may be taking some liberties with his /her information.

For instance, the statement that "Since the recession began in 2007 apparently the already abysmal abortion rate among African Americans has risen by 8-10%" is not factual according to CDC and the more complete Guttmacher Institute's data. The CDC data shows that the percentage of Black women having abortions in 2007 was 34.4%, while the more authoritative Guttmacher data sows that in 2010, the percentage of Black women having abortions was 30%, which was a DECREASE, rather than an increase.

Granted, we have our work cut out for us in order to address this still high rate, but considering the sorry state of the economy and it's negative impact on child birth decisions, to have a decrease under those conditions is encouraging.

I don't necessarily question the other data in this report, but who knows what a factual review will disclose.

360 Degrees of the Black Experience

A message to all members of Living In Black

Several strong indicators are appearing throughout the month of July which do not make us happy about the near term challenges ahead:
  • Since the recession began in 2007 apparently the already abysmal abortion rate among African Americans has risen by 8-10%.  If this persists then my prediction that Blacks would become a very marginally influential minority group by 2065 would be pushed much closer.  We can already see evidence of what this loss of political, social and economic clout is doing to our communities and self-interests.
  • The U.S. is nearing the point of a dramatic drop in prosperity.  The forces of usury, which are grasping at every means possible to preserve their disproportionate dominance by even one or two more years, have bankrupted too many families .  This weeks new report from the Pew Charitable Trusts further confirms what we were already saying is that the wealth of minority groups, especially Hispanic, African and Asian, is being plundered by the bankers and globalists.
  • The IMF is telling the U.S., on the eve of a major disruption in this country's credit rating, to get its act together.  Unfortunately, such action would entail measures that make it worse, especially on Blacks who depend on higher proportion of government employment to survive.  Additionally, predicted cuts in entitlement programs will further the shift of wealth from the poor and middle class to those who are at the top of the wealth heap in America.
  • It's been a long hot summer filled with bad news regarding weather, agricultural outcome, urban conflict, ecological injury, inter-ethnic relations, crime, inflation, world hunger, war and other key areas of social impact.  What makes this all more exasp erating is that policy leaders, both in government and without, don't appear to be able to come up with creative and innovative solutions to this myriad of problems.
  • The spectrum of chronic health diseases and disorders just keeps marching forth, claiming members of virtually every household on the block and costing us increasing investment in sickness industries to the tune of tens of billions per day.
It's time to bail out.  But, "bail out" of what?  I would suggest we radically break from habitual patterns and establish new collaborative relationships based upon mutual interest and thriving.  It still is a large question as to whether enough of us will get this construct in time to prevent the bottom from falling out of our individual and collective lives.  I know most about the work that I do and it does not look like a critical mass of us will make the positive moves in due time.  If we could only consolidate one avenue, then we would be able to buy sufficient time to be able to spread our successes further.
Still, we keep on moving forward: "A journey of 1000 miles begins with one step"...and then must come the second, third, fourth and fifth steps, until finally we are stepping in rhythm and moving deliberately toward our destiny.
Here are two new catalog items that can help us all get in step -- TOGETHER!

Leaders Urged Stop Africa from Dying, Race War in Africa

              IMMEDIATE RELEASE       Date: 7/25/2011

    Contact:  404-527-7756/718-523-3312/WADUPAM.ORG

ATLANTA, GA. July 25, 2011 – "Africa is dying" warned the former US Attorney General, Ramsey Clark as he condemns the attack on Libya as illegal and racist and called for the intensification of actions to protect Africa. The chilling but pointed messages and reports on Africa from prominent leaders were focused on critical issues such as the ongoing war in Libya, the "new scramble for the re-colonization of Africa" and the dwindling and endangerment of Black freedom and rights across the world.

During the main address to hundreds of mainly African Americans who poured into the public forum, former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney stated that the U.S. backed NATO attack on Libya is to wage a protracted war against the African Union (AU) efforts for a "United States of Africa." She insisted that the attack on Libya is an effort to sabotage Bro. Leader President Khadafi billions of dollars fast-track approach to establish a 'United States of Africa'. This achievement would make Africa economically and politically the most powerful continent in the world, threatening Europe's already declining global hegemony. The U.S. of Africa concept originated with Marcus Garvey and was fervently advanced by leaders like Dr. WEB Dubois, Patrice Lumumba, President Abdul Nassar and President Kwame Nkrumah.

Additionally, the former presidential candidate called upon those in the African Diaspora to muster the spirit and principles of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Minister Malcolm X, Fannie Lou Hamer and other great leaders to promote justice and freedom in the world. McKinney urged all to contact their leaders in Washington and demand a halt to the war and for American resources to be used for jobs, education and global peace.

Minister Akbar Muhammad provided a detail account of U.S. policy on Africa and highlighted the irony of the attack on Africa by a Black President, the genocidal attacks against Black Libyans, and that the undermining the African Union (AU) is to ensure a weak, impoverished and dependent Africa on the U.S. and Europe for the control of Africa's resources. Also during the forum, Dianne Mathewitz stressed that "The atrocities committed by imperialist US and (NATO) former European colonial powers in Libya are crimes against humanity". Indeed, legal actions and a tribunal on U.S.-NATO war crimes and other violations of international law against Africans are been pushed by human rights and international lawyers such as Attorney Wareham in NY.

After urging everyone to support the "March for Africa and Jobs" in NY on August 13, 2011, Minister P.D. Menelik proposed that the AU establish divisions across Africa to protect Africans from slipping back into chattel slavery and colonialism. He reminded the community that the AU has designated the African Diaspora as the sixth region of Africa and urged all to take on the responsibility with their skills to become part of "an African Diaspora division for the development of Africa." For centuries, members of the African Diaspora have fought for their freedom and returned to Africa to support the rebuilding of their Homeland. Other speakers and key participants included Reverend Derrick Rice, Lucy Bradley, Keena Toney, Sobukwe Shukura, Karen Mason, Dr. Sharifa Saa, Kwame Lynburg, Thano Paris and Kofi Adjei.

The successful public forum at the historic Shrine of the Black Madonna was organized by a coalition of global, national and local organizations such as the Africa Ascension, World African Diaspora Union (WADU), The Nation of Islam, All African Peoples Revolutionary Party (AAPRP), the Pan African Ministers, the African Community Centers, UNIA/ACL, The Georgia Green Party, International Action Center, African Association of Georgia, the New Black Panther Party, The Libya Dignity Delegation, Sankofa United Church of Christ, Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), The Shrine of the Black Madonna, First African Presbyterian Church, Malcolm X Grassroots Movement and The Congo Coalition.

    Racism 401

Ok, is everyone  seated and paying attention.? Are the wanna-be-dark-skin CONS in class? Good.

The chief Republican CON in Congress and his fellow crooks are now teaching everyone an advanced level course in RACISM in his illogical diatribe against Pres. Obama on the credit limit (debt ceiling) issue, which is money ALREADY SPENT!.  This guy, as we pointed out before AND many of his legislative thugs  has voted to increase the credit limit over 19 times in the recent past under white presidents.  Has he suddenly received an epiphany from on high?  Not likely.  The reality is that no matter what Obama proposes, the CONS are gonna object! Period. End of discussion!

Why? Because as Obama said recently to them, in essence , "you guys are treating me much differently than you have ever treated any other president."

Translated he is saying, the CONS are blatantly racist!  And if anyone does not know the definition of racism from a Black perspective, it's time to read Drs Frances Welsing, Amos Wilson, Chancellor Williams, also Dick Gregory, Patrice Lumumba, Marcus Garvey, Huey P. Newton, and many others of us who have zeroed in on the issue.

Racism is a modus operandi of the exploiter against the exploited and  more importantly, YOU CAN'T FIGHT IT, if you don't accurately know what it is! And it is much more complex than simplistic explanations about dis-liking some one because of their skin color.  Hell, if that's all it was, who would care?  Racism is much more sinister and DEADLY!

Government Wants Keys to Your Home & Business

    Hotep all,

What in the world are Americans thinking? Letting some elected clown tell them we need to protect you no matter what you want? I don't need anyone to protect me or my family, they are well versed in protecting themselves.

I truly believe these are nothing more than experiments that the government is conducting in certain areas to see how the people will react. If they riot then they can handle the area, if you notice, things like these don't go down in big cities like LA, Miami, Orlando, Chicago, etc., because they could not handle the reaction if the people revolt.

They say its because of emergency purposes but they have no data to back it up. So, this could only mean one thing….experiment!

I said it a long time ago and I will say it again, TSA is nothing but an experiment to see how low Americans morals are. If they take the grouping of their children and wives and allow strangers to see them naked…. they will take anything.

Take a minute to watch the videos and you tell me if you would put up with this nonsense.

    Dr. Frances C. Welsing Broadcast

Many of us have read Dr Welsing's work, "The Isis Papers: The Keys to the Colors." Over the years I have drawn the conclusion that Dr Welsing's theory needs to be refurbished.  For instance, she tends to define racism as a white thing which doesn't account for Arabic enslavement of Afrikans and their general disposition to Afrikan people.  Her theory that white people originated in Afrika and were expelled by  Afrikans doesn't hold up to the data that Diop, Finch and others have put forth about the very ancient genetic mutation of Black Afrikans via albinism in Europe from whence the whites came.
Also, her claims about the Afrikan gene being dominant and thus the white's fear of genetic annihilation seems sketchy in view of the phenotypes of Obama, Frederick Douglass, and many others who have mixed parentage, but who seem to have the light skin and other features of the white, with some Black features as well.  So it appears that the Black gene is not as dominant as she says.

Just some thoughts, check out her broadcast for your self.

Food Crisis in Somalia Is a Famine, U.N. Says - NYTimes.com

They say there's two-sides to every story; the above story seems to be from a western-christian viewpoint.  I would like to hear the non-western-islamic version, and tell me what justifies the reported actions to deny food to starving people.

It seems that no matter who the parties in contention are, whether US wars in foreign lands or "civil wars" in the Sudan, Somalia, India, US, wherever, it's always the "non-combatants" children, women, and elderly  who bear the brunt of the wars. Even tourists catch hell, such as when on one trip to KMT, I had barely left the country when so-called islamic militants decided to take target practice on tourists visiting ancient KMT historic sites.  I just escaped being classified as "collateral damage."

    Enough, I've had enough!

    Who's Fooling Whom?

Let's see if I can understand this. The CON movement in the US was jump-started by Ronald Reagan's election as president, right?  After all, he is considered the "father of modern CONservatism", the guru, who was also called the dumbest president in history by former House Speaker Tip Oneill.

With that said, why are the present day CONS, proud disciples of Reagan, and their dark-skin wanna-be CONS, so resistant to raising the credit limit (debt ceiling)?  Have they conveniently forgotten that in 8 years, Reagan TRIPLED  the size of the debt to as much as the first 80 years of this century had done!  Say whaat?(http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2011/02/05/142288/reagan-centennial/)

Have the present day followers of Reagan also conveniently forgotten that Reagan RAISED TAXES 11 times? Get outta here!  Yet the CONS persist in the illusion of protecting Bush-era tax breaks for the elite, while asking the rest of us to "sacrifice for the good of the country".  Who's in a better position to sacrifice, you and me or the fat cats sitting on millions, billions?  Why aren't the present day CONS even considering closing this tax gift to the wealthy, let alone increasing the tax on them?   Reagan didn't have any problem raising taxes, so what's up with the CONS?  This is a dilemma for the CONS, and their dark-skin wanna-be CONS better take note.  And those Obama folks who sat home during the last mid-term elections and saw their guys lose the lead in the Congress that precipitated this situation also better wise up.

Recent polls show that the CONS are "isolating" voters by their resistance to deal.  yet they say that the people want them to honor their pledge to hold the line and not raise the debt. Who's fooling whom?

Their hard line to reality couldn't be because  Pres. Obama says he's a Black man, could it? Naw!  Not in this so-called "post racism era."
