We all know that christian america's motto is "In God We Trust" right? After all they put it on their moo-lah, so they must really be serious about it, ain't that right? I mean now despite the fact that the US was the world's first country to develop, AND USE nuclear weapons for self-defense purposes, you know, and despite the fact that the US has the world's largest and deadliest arsenal of nuclear weapons overkill that can literally destroy practically ALL life forms on Earth, and despite the fact that the US is the world's largest manufacturer of weapons (USA makes 40% of the world's weapons, Russia is a distant second with 20%) well, you know they STILL say "In God We Trust", because the world is a dangerous place and they have got to be ready, right?
So now, why has the VA Attorney General, in April, ruled that God-trusting christians, and others, can attend church on Sunday "packing", carrying weapons in the house of the lord????
James Cleveland used to sing a song called "Where Is Your Faith"? Where is your faith christians that you need to come to your church on Sunday loaded with 9mm's, Glocks, Smith & Wesson, Uzi's? Or is thia another example of christian hypocrisy? (Did I say that?) Before you answer too quickly, remember that Dr. Martin Luther King's mother was shot while playing the organ in church in the 1970s. Has your church become just an extension of euro-christian obsession with killing?

Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli has provided an advisory opinion to Del. Mark Cole regarding whether citizens are allowed to carry firearms for self-protection into places of worship.
"It is the opinion of the attorney general, based on a thorough review of existing law and relevant prior court decisions, that carrying a weapon for self-defense legally constitutes a "good and sufficient reason" under the statute. This opinion assumes that the citizen is lawfully able to carry a weapon, and if carrying concealed, has the appropriate permit to do so. ""…while the Constitution of Virginia protects the right to bear arms, it also recognizes the importance of property rights. Churches, synagogues, mosques, and other religious entities – like any other owner of private property – can restrict or ban the carrying of weapons onto their premises."
