BRAVE NEW VOICES Brave New Voices is truly a life-changing experience for many of our youth. It is an opportunity for them to explore a new cultural landscape while building relationships with other youth poets and leaders from around the world. Duplicated around the country are smaller events, such as ours, presented by the affiliated organizations to prepare youth in their region of the country for this awesome opportunity! Teens With A Purpose has had the distinct honor to be the organization responsible for preparing Hampton Roads youth for this amazing experience for the past five years. | BNV 2013 Finals - Cape Town |

"LISTEN," "LISTEN," "LIVE," "LIVE" and "GIVE LOVE" This is one of many chants that our poets use to cheer each other on here and around the Nation. Hampton Roads Youth Poets is a division of Teens with a Purpose. These young artists and writers learn how to use their voices, energy and ideas as mechanisms for change in their community while developing tools for personal growth. |
