Ancestral Path's History Forum-TOMORROW at House of Consciousness

"All history is a current event"--Dr. John Henrik Clarke

Ancestral Path's History Forum will focus on issues that are vital to all people of Afrikan descent, regardless of religion or creed.  Joining me  for this event is our brother, teacher, community activist and historian from Richmond, Baba Alkebu~lan.

In this forum, we will cover a lot of ground, all essential to our proper understanding of our history, which Dr. Clarke said teaches us not only what we have been, but more importantly, it teaches us what we still must do and become.  Our topics include:

The Ancestors 2nd Hell Trip! What happened to hundreds of thousands of our enslaved ancestors along the Norfolk waterfront beginning in the 18th century? Why do we persist in celebrating Juneteenth, which is based on erroneous historical premises, and yet so many of us do not know, understand or acknowledge the tragic history that befell our ancestors right here in our own back yard?

Did ancient Afrikans enslave people-Yes or No? Did our ancestors enslave other Afrikans, Europeans, the people who classify themselves as Jews/Israelites? What is Kharma and did it have any role in our ancestors enslavement by Europeans and Arabs?

Genetics and Racial traits.  What's behind the multitude of color shades of Black people?  Are there any "pure" bloodlines in the human family?

A critical Analysis of Dr. Frances Welsing's Racism Theory. Is her concept of white people's fear of genetic annihilation as the cause of racism valid?

Your Questions-Our Answers. Now's the time to bring forth those troubling questions that you may have, or to share differing opinions in a non-confrontational manner.

The forum is set for September 10, 12 noon-3 pm, at the House of Consciousness,
600 W. 35th St, Norfolk, and is Free and open to ALL people of good will. Seating is limited.  Donations are accepted.  Flyer attached-please distribute in your circles.
