A New Year's Message From Dr. Hagins

What's Up All,

I thought this was a very good message from one of our Conscious scholar warriors. Take time to read..it's very good.

Greetings!

Normally I would start off by saying "Happy New Year," but not this time! I say that because I am thinking of the many millions for whom this is NOT a happy time.

As people bring in the New Year with church services, dancing, drinking, partying, celebrating, and whatever else; I cannot help but think of the thousands of innocent souls that have been killed by the drone attacks carried out by this government on other lands. As this New Year comes in, I think of the hundreds of families who lost loved ones to violent crimes and dishonorable law enforcement tactics over the past year. I am also thinking of the many thousands of empty bank-owned homes and the millions of homeless people who are trying to find a piece of cardboard to use as a mattress or blanket tonight. So saying "Happy New Year" just seems a little inconsiderate (for me) right now.

As I look back over the past year, I am thankful to God and our Ancestors Who continuously gives me the strength to do this great work of (metaphorically) opening the eyes of the blind, and making the lame to walk, the dumb to talk, and the deaf to hear. I can think of no greater privilege than being an instrument in the hands of God for the liberation, resurrection and empowerment of our people.

However, with each New Year there is the challenge of doing bigger, better and greater things. I always tell my students, "Don't settle for where you are…always go to the next level; and NEVER ever stop developing."

I have found that the reason why people make New Year's resolutions is because there is that something in all of us that really does want to improve or do better. The problem, however, for many people is two-fold: (1) Not having a strategy or methodology for improvement in their lives; and, (2) Not having the discipline to effectively carry out a strategy for improvement. Consequently, many people get knocked off course when trying to navigate through their day-to-day lives.

As a pilot, I have experienced being knocked off course by something known as wind shear. The most outstanding characteristic about wind shear or a severe crosswind is…YOU CAN'T SEE IT COMING! It can happen at anytime and anywhere during flight. In fact, unless one is skilled in reading aeronautical charts and navigational aids they won't even know that they are off course because the plane continues to fly as though nothing is wrong. The engine is running fine and the instruments and gauges are functioning normally, but you are off course! Then suddenly the pilot realizes that the plane is not where it is supposed to be! That's when the pilot has to appropriate what is known as "course correction procedures."

To effectively make a course correction, there are 5 things that a pilot must do (if they are to reach their destination). These 5 things are:

(1) Determine where he or she is in relation to where he or she should be.

(2) Set a new course heading that will get the aircraft back on course.

(3) Move the flight controls to turn the aircraft to a course heading that will get it back on course.

(4) Re-acquire a proper course heading.

(5) Maintain the proper course heading by being more vigilant and aware of the movement of the invisible winds.

Even though I used the example of a plane in flight, I trust that you were able to apply these points to your own life. It is important to understand that the only way to avoid wind shear is to stay on the ground! But if you choose to take flight and reach your goals, know that crosswinds and wind shear come with the territory of making progress.

So, as you navigate through the days, weeks and months of the coming year, I encourage you to stay on course. Don't get distracted with those things that do not add to you or make you better. Don't allow negative people and influences to drain you. Know what your assignment is and carry it out to the best of your ability.

We live in a society where the masses are enslaved to the global elite. They lie to us either directly in the speeches they give or indirectly through the societal system. Those who are supposed to be divinely called messengers of truth are teaching the lies that they were taught.

It is frightening to wake up to the fact that you live within a control system that lies to you, deprives you of knowledge and controls your destiny. So don't move through life rudderless because then you are forced to go wherever the wind of those in power blows you. Even though you cannot stop the wind from blowing, you don't have to be afraid when it does because a kite rises against the wind, not with it.

Stay strong, keep your head up, and be the person that God has called you to be. Determine where it is that you should be going and what you should be doing. Stay focused. Purposely engage your time and energy only in those things that will make your life productive, meaningful and prosperous in the coming year.

In closing, Angela and I would like to thank all of our friends and well-wishers for your love and support over the past year, and we wish you much success and many blessings in the days to come.

In Maat,

Ray & Angela Hagins
