This is Africa - Africa for a new generation
How do 1st and 2nd-generation Africans in America define their identity?
Hello friends,

We at TIA are always interested in the way we construct our individual identity as Africans in a globalised world, and we know you're just as interested in the subject, which is why we're sure the recently launched web series African Time will strike a chord with you, too.

How we see ourselves as we look out onto the world from wherever we are in Africa is one part of the story, but how do Africans abroad, say 1st and 2nd-generation African immigrants in America, define their identity? What is it like to be an African in America? That's the premise behind this very promising series, and when you watch the first few bite-sized clips you'll understand why we hope it runs and runs. Informative, thought-provoking and entertaining to boot.

Enjoy the rest of this update.

Peace.
