I'm getting glowing reports that the Father's Day Drum Call in Lafayette Park yesterday, led by Sistah Kendle, was a success for a first time effort and especially considering the wet weather. They were able to stay dry under a park shelter and the show went on.
Shame on me for not getting there due to the weather.
I'm sure Kendle will be leading us in other Drum Calls in the park and at the oceanfront in the coming summer months to mark other occasions!
